Pat, Here is another company that disputes this communications slowdown thesis. We have already heard from JDSU, SDLI, AMCC, CSCO that they see no slowdown. In the Cisco, it is implied in Chamber's subtle hints. Here is another one--LSI logic CfO. Radiowallstreet interview. Here is a quote--"wo don't see a slowdown in optical". Remember he said that prior to JDSU earnings just like the AMCC CEO. radiowallstreet.com This is an unresolved issue and another one or two companies might just tilt the balance to the bull case.
