The argument about whether the Bible supports slavery is a very old one, of course, as you know. It was waged centuries ago, and there was no resolution then. Both sides came away convinced that each was right. In our country (USA) the matter had to be resolved by bloodshed.

I have given you many quotes, from both the Old and New Testaments, to buttress my assertion that the bible supports, encourages, and justifies slavery (not surprising considering its moral stance in other areas). If you wish to take a contrary position...perhaps you would give me some biblical quotes that support this? Thanks.
