Movie News:

a) The Blair Witch Project sequel is the lousiest piece of crap I've walked out of in years. At least the original was a little bit off-beat. I mean, avoid at all costs if you're older than seven.

b) However, before that there was a trailer for a new scifi movie coming out in November with the hilarious title of "Antitrust". It stars Tim Robbins as an evil computer genius/mogul clearly modeled on Bill Gates who is secretly working on conquering the world by taking over everyone's mind from a network of satellites he's launching. Ryan Phillippe plays a Stanford comp sci student who is wooed and hired by the bad guy's company to do "interesting work" (and no doubt ends up foiling the evil plan).

In the film was simulated news footage of the absolutely real Scott McNealy grinning and shaking hands with (I think) Robbins. This actually woke me up for a second.

It also has Claire Forlani and Rachael Leigh Cook, which is reason to go even if you sleep through the rest.
