the controversial daisy ad is more truthful than most people would like to believe.

I don't care how truthful it is... I don't like that kind of BS fearmongering in a political campaign.

I don't like having politicians playing on people's fears and emotions rather than on their logic.

The politics of fear AND/OR bleeding heart liberalism inherently make for bad public policy.

And it is why we have the legacy of a failed "cradle to grave" welfare system that NOW HAS TO BE RESTRUCTURED towards empowering people to support themselves and learn and adher to individual responsibility for their lives.

Imo, if you are an able bodied individual who receives government welfare benefits, it should be MANDATORY that you render some form of service in exchange for those benefits. Every aspect of welfare should be dedicated to getting those people who have the potential to support themselves, to be empowered, voluntarily, or coercively, to do so.

And I absolutely agree with you about hate crimes legislation, as I've stated before. It is inherently unfair to EVERY VICTIM of a violent crime for legislation to be passed dedicating special judicial treatment to offenders that act out of hatred.

Any crime is a violation of another individuals inherent and inalienable civil rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The current judicial system has ONLY TO ENFORCE those laws ALREADY on the books for all such criminals to be properly tried, convicted, and punished.

We need to stop molly-coddling the people who choose to commit violent criminal acts upon others, irregardless of whether they are white supremists, black supremists, or latin supremists.

The bottom line is that America has become such a success because we have taken almost every type of culture in the world, got them to live under the essential principles of the constitution, and endeavored (not always successfully) to become the model of how the world should actually operate.

If folks believe that the US is so bad that we need all of this special legislation, I would suggest that they spend a bit of time overseas where racism is FAR MORE blatant, and civil right non-existent except by the will of the elites.

Regards,

Ron
