Bargain, a good question. I always assumed that "deferred revenues" is cash received but not yet recognized as "revenues" (for instance as upfront lump sum licensing fees, sometimes these are then partially deducted from royalties, but in all cases recognized over the life of the different license agreements, quarter by quarter), thus it shows on the balance sheet but not the income statement. If that is the case, consignment sales would not be deferred revenues, IMHO.
