Hello padco,
In my opinion, it would be a serious error to try to push,
or thrust, "W-OFDM ONLY", upon any group or forum.

This has been Cisco's tactic, with V-OFDM; and they are
make great strides in the reverse direction. IE they are
doing a fine job of alienating themselves .

The principals of this group and others , such as the Microsoft Initiative, are apparently well aware of
the fractured mess that we have in the Cellular area,
with various types of CDMA, TDMA, Analog, IDEN, you name it.

The 2.4 Gigahertz band is in an absolute mess, with the
addition of the New Expanded Frequency Hopping Technology,
and even new portable telephones & answering machines.

The groups, appear to really have their heads in the
right place, and are moving toward a blend of OFDM technologies, and hopefully fair & equitable sharing
of Patents or IPRs.

Hatim has proven to be is really an outstanding initiator & leader of this effort IMHO.

Best,
Mardy.
