TA, you might want to add that when SSB's Joseph downgraded the semis in July the reaction was violent with semis dropping 7% in a day and rebounding to catch up within a week. In hindsight, he was the first to affect psychology of the sector. The SOX dropped from 1285 to close 685 friday.
The Joseph call jolted the market and analysts so maybe we are seeing Cramer, briefing, and others jump in droves to call the top of the optical sector and companies depending on them.

The semis gave a clue with AYST, KLIC announcing pushout of orders in August.

I haven't seen AMCC or PMCS announce anything similar to what was seen in the semis.

Unlike NT, Block trades have been even on this stock.

Seeing the CEO on CNBC this week saying they will have 20% sequential growth for this quarter had to stick in many peoples mind during all this.

Unless something comes up to show us that the CEO is uninformed or misguided, it will be tough taking my AMCC shares away either.
