Donald, on the AMAT TMF board several posters advocate buy-and-hold and I don't quibble. But some of them are young and have many years to wait. A TMF writer recently said of AMAT, after observing it had dropped 50%, "that's OK". I couldn't disagree more. It has to double just to get even and industry conditions have changed meanwhile, making that much harder than it would have been a year ago. SEMI equipment orders WILL top out [if they haven't already] and then you can only expect the stocks to drop until orders bottom. Gottfried
