Jozef... Thought the thread might find this interesting, its a post from the CPQ thread, a poster was trying to decide which CPU to buy and an intel-a-bull was trying to get him to buy intel.

I think INTC snob would be a better phrase then INTC bigot. Bigot has a very nasty connotation.
Thank you very much for your input. It made me think but, I didn't catch it in time. If I had, I would have stayed with an INTC CPU. The CPU speed and assurances from a Compaq telephone rep lured me down the AMD path. I hope I don't regret it.

Now it's back to planting spring bulbs. The deer really appreciate my efforts. They find the flowers very tasty in April.<g>

I own some AMD and a lot of CPQ and usually just lurk on these threads. I hope CPQ reps lead more people down the AMD path.

BTW... AMD does need to do more pr so people will have enough confidence to use their CPU's. Tony V. had him pondering compatibility issues ! Good thing he already placed the order.
