Roger,

>I wasn't asking for your opinion. Just wondered why you started posting.I have owned CPQ for many years, in fact bought more last week.

When I buy stocks (rather than mutual funds) I buy tech. It's the only field I understand well enough at all (If I do. What a year!). Compaq is a tech stock. They are also big time into products I've been around for a career: computers and storage, etc. So, if I have a chance of understanding how a company is doing by following it, it will be a company like Compaq, or Intel, or, to a lesser extent, EMC. Less than these, Cisco. Anyway, I believe that Compaq is turning it around and it is a good stock to own going forward.

BTW, I have posted to this thread for quite a while because it is all about my kind of stuff (products-wise, not pig- talk). I may be around a bit more because I have been buying CPQ this year.
