Polvie: Just wait. Heupel has come out of nowhere and led his team to solid, decisive victories against the number #2 and #1 ranked teams in the nation back to back. No other candidate will achieve anything nearly as remarkable or impressive the balance of the year. cbs.sportsline.com Heupel is not the best athlete on the gridiron. He is not a great, classic, pro-style prospect. He IS a tremendous leader and he knows how to win. His team will now assume the #1 ranking in the polls come Monday and will likely remain there, given their remaining schedule, until the Heisman votes are tallied. Heupel's career and season so far embodies everything the Heisman and college football are all about. And it's never too early to give prizes.
