and the 1.1 GHz ThumperTurd isn't available at retail - 2 months AFTER that novelty launch You switch arguments to suit yourself don't you? Just a few months ago, when there were still no P3 1GHz at retail, you were arguing that Intel's supply was good but OEM soaked them all up. In the case of AMD however, despite everyone and his dog selling AMD 1.1 GHz processors, the fact there are no 1.1 GHz available at retail apparently means the intro was a "novelty launch". At least be consistent in your arguments. And what do you mean by the 1.1 GHz not being available at retail? It has only been a couple of months and there are already listings on pricewatch.
