In six desperate years of trying to glean relevant information from stock-talk threads, this JDSU thread is by far the best. I am able to read an intelligent analysis of both sides of the story and make an informed decision. I have held JDSU for the past couple of years and NOT selling it is, believe it or not, one of the hardest things I've ever done (on an investing level). This week was my biggest down week (on paper) ever and I have had some big ones. I wanted to sell every optical stock I own and run. Now, though, thanks to in a large part the discussion on this thread, (and I feel like I have read every word written about the optical space), I have come to the conclusion, again, that I need to hang on to these stocks. I don't expect to be further rewarded financially for that decision for a few months, but in a market with no place to hide this is where I continue to stand. Thanks to you all for your work on the thread.
