40-acre billboard a boost for Bush

By DOUG POKORSKI

MIDDLETOWN - Some folks say that bigger is definitely better, and if they're right, central Illinois - and George W. Bush -
have the best political sign in the current presidential campaign, and maybe in the world.

That's because Bill and Judi Graff have turned part of their farm near Middletown into what is believed to be the world's largest
political sign - a nearly 40-acre billboard chiseled into the central Illinois topsoil that proudly proclaims "Bush 2000" in letters
and numbers that are each about the size of a city block.

"We're having great reactions to it," Judi Graff said Friday.
