Hi Tim - outside of TA, I think there are several differences between ATML [long] and SSTI [no position] worth noting. ATML hi end flash [25% of the latest Q rev, from mermory, so could be wrong] is not as fashionable. Also, my guess is that ATML took some collateral damage when Altera and Xilinx got slammed! ATML did do a PO while SSTI has withdrawn its PO. Finally, while I am personally more bullish on ATML b/c of her recent developments and breadth of products, SSTI has a substantial fewer shrs [both outstanding and float] than ATML, which is more conducive to traders in terms of short squeeze and other mkt forces unrelated to company's fundamentals best, Bosco

Tim, the reason I ask is that ATML offers leaps, I picked up a chunk FRI (2003 strike 15's for 7 3/8) Now if their growth is correct and the bear market ends in a year these should be a steal. If in fact ATML has set a short term bottom for the year thease are a steal. I was thinking about putting them away and forgetting about them more or less. If however my timing is off and 10 needs to be re-tested, then perhaps I sould sell some. At any rate I can not imagine ATML not selling at 23 or higher sometime in the next bull market. That is why I asked for bear market, bull market, and neutral market scenarios for this stock. Hope you or Zeev can give me some guidance to see if my thoughts are correct. Thanks.
