MB, even as I haven't undergone lobotomy (to the best of my knowledge - please no jokes about that -g-), I didn't understand your answer. As I understand MF tax selling is when MM sell losers to offset capital gains they have. That means they try not to sell winners. But if they think that the market is heading down they might want to sell some winners starting November 1.
May be you think that there is no "MF tax selling" phenomenon at all?
Do you believe in seasonality in stock prices? Is it tradable? Once you mentioned that you buy SLB in summer and sell in winter.
