Product transitions are not easy. But that does not relieve the company launching the product of its responsibility for adequate alpha and beta testing.

Blaming RAMBUS for the screwups in the 820 launch is symptomatic of the problems at Intel. You do not seem to understand that and that is your problem.

Screwing up a product launch almost always results in lower sales throughout the product lifecycle. Recalls result in even lower sales. The operative phrase is "once burnt twice shy."
