z, I know that you are a big LMDS fan. I don't know enough about it to agree or disagree. Is it being deployed in the US at this time? In general, I am not a big fan of wireless communications in the metro or last mile networks. It has some cost benefits but performance can take a hit. One of MRVC's start-ups is planning an IPO with a wireless product (optical access, I believe). Performance takes a huge hit in adverse weather conditions. Given that, do you feel that it will be a widely accepted source of high speed data access for paying customers? thanks for your comments. tp
