Tony,

First, I do not buy your "shared responsibility" explanation. I think that is a dangerous cop out.

Second, I do not buy your assessment of RDRAM versus DDR.

As a Rambus investor, DDR will make more money for me.
As an engineer, it seems to me that you do not understand what is going on with DDR and RDRAM. DDR is not a scalable solution for high bandwidth processors. If you can not see that, what more can I say?
