If your fiduciary comment refers to royalties, look what happened to Qualcomm: stockmaster.com As far as companies hating each other, it can make a difference. Sun/IBM or Sun/Intel...you won't see any alliances with those pairs involved. How is the price of RDRAM going to ever come down with the DRAMurai all against Rambus? If the Koreans, the Japanese and Micron all hate Rambus and won't make it, it's price won't come down, and it should become an asterisk in about a year and a half.
