Oblomov, Definitely the one I reviewed, "Power To The People" by Pavel Tsatsouline. Clarence Bass's "Challenge Yourself" is not really a strength book. It is about strength training, bodybuilding, getting lean, nutrition and attitude. It is a great book and Clarence was a competitive weight lifter for much of his life, and I think he has a lot to offer, though you may have to skim through the parts that are not directly about strength. And, not really a book, but a journal, published quarterly, that covers everything from the Olympic lifts to stone lifting and kettlebells. It is called Milo and you can buy a sample copy at www.sales@Ironmind.com.

I also very much like Mike Mentzer's "Heavy Duty" books, though they are bodybuilding more than strength.

And for current reading, try www.testosterone.com. Nearly every other issue has a great strength article by one of the monsters from The Westside Gym, where you have to bench 600 pounds in competition to permanently join the club.

Also, www.clarencebass.com and www.mikementzer.com are great monthly reading sites.
