<< The impressive thing is that MSFT has been moving up in the face of a very sloppy market >>

Speaking of the market, what is everyone's opinion on the near term direction of the Nasdaq? Does anyone think that the seasonal difficulties (October, etc.) are nearly behind us and a rally through the end of the year is likely?

My opinion is that the Dow rally Friday indicates that it hit bottom and will rally modestly for a couple of months. The Nasdaq was held back Friday as tax loss selling and mutual fund adjustments finished up (ie. final stage of tax selling in the most beat up stocks).

Am I off my rocker?

TIA,
Dave
