Hammer: Read an interesting story today. Nader supporters in Northwest are "trading" their votes over the Internet with Gore supporters in Texas. Since Gore has no chance to win Texas, Gore supporters there will vote for Nader; in return, Nader supporters in Washington, Oregon will vote for Gore. Neither side wants Bush to win, and Nader will still receive the same number of votes so as to attain his 5% funding goal. Evidently, a fair number of vote-trade pledges have been made.
