All Intel cache memory has had ECC for the last several years.

I think a more interesting question is: how many things that are Intel-based and are acting as "servers" have main memory ECC?

That's a lot bigger alpha-particle target than the cache, and I'll bet nobody can answer the question. For Sun, it's "all". Cheapo non-ECC main memory for Sun is not an option (at least, not from Sun).
