No, I think it was the Cowboys, although the Rams might have picked him up late in his career. No clue who he was married to, except it must have been a "high profile" type.

In '69 she married glamorous Dallas Cowboy wide receiver Lance Rentzel, and for a year or so they were the toast of the town, appearing together at events and on TV. Unfortunately that marriage ended in '71 when he was arrested for indecent exposure in front of a young girl (an episode he wrote about in his '72 book When All the Laughter Died in Sorrow)..."
