Of course I noticed that.. Remember I stated that Grissmer contributed to this 14 page report, although not an author?

But it DOE NOT NEGATE Grissmer's findings, or the fact that this 14 page report is obviously under supported by any extensive data sampling.

They stated themselves that they found inconsistencies in the TAAS results after sampling a small number of schools and this piqued their interest.

Why they had to push this paper out before an election, despite the fact that it is inconclusive is incredibly suspicious.

If either one of us tried to pull off these kinds of shenanigans in college or Grad school, we'd be ripped apart.

Maybe I'd feel a bit better about it were it not for the fact that these authors were involved in reviewing the Grissmer report or had they incorporated a similar comparison of California or some other state in the analysis.

But focusing on Texas, and mentioning the Texas "miracle" strikes me as an attempt to deliberately target that state.
