DDR consensus

It's a LOT faster than PC133 occasionally
It's slightly faster than PC133 most of the time
It's slghtly SLOWER than PC133 (cas 2) occasionally

Check out some of AMD's benchmarks and read the fine print. They used Cas 3 PC133 instead of Cas 2 to make the DDR platform look faster! Of course, these benchmarks aren't bandwidth limited so latency makes a difference.

Overall, with the few reviews we have so far, I'm pleased with the results.

A warning to all - Elmer will be complaining that these benchmarks were done on a motherboard that won't ever come out and they use drivers that haven't been released yet. ;)

Scott,

My friend here proceeded to comment that the Athlon using the new platform "clowns" the Pentium 4 in performance.

Hmmm, can you smell a delay until 1.7 GHz P4 arrives?
