At this point, here's how I imagine it going (scenario one): I think Dave will start smart, keeping his chin tucked, and will weather - mostly unscathed - some big shots, but without landing any of his big shots at all. I suspect that he'll slow down after two or three rounds and will finally get caught trying to slip inside for the umpteenth time, in the middle rounds (5, 6, 7) - largely as a result of getting increasingly tired and sloppy. Why am I certain that Tua will burn out? Well, he'll be throwing those immense, energy-draining haymakers all night, higher than he's ever had to , by virtue to the following reasons: 1. Opportunities for a Tua point victory are negligible by virtue of Lewis' reach and jab; 2. Lewis hasn't been hit credibly in years, and will likely break down mentally if he's knocked down/gets an 8 count; 3. It's what Dave does best. ...and Lewis, knowing all of these things, will likely bait Tua by letting him close just enough distance such that the same combinations (esp. the wicked right cross) that landed Botha and Grant will find their mark. Tua will not be as easy to plant, but he'll eventually go down. *** Unless, of course (scenario two), Lewis decides to send a message to Tyson and (IMHO, unwisely), in much the same way as we theorized Golota could/should do, fairly leaps onto Tua in the first round. *** Or, less likely but still possible...and, as is my preferred outcome...scenario three, that Lewis (within the bounds of scenario one or two) catches the full brunt by a Tua punch, resulting in a sudden case of the "soggy knees"... Whatever happens, it'll be interesting. LPS5
