You really ought to be dragged behind a horse for that! One more bookmark that will eat up my "nows"! What a way to start the day.

Funny--a month or two back, I said something along the same lines as this in a post--strictly as a layman's conjecture, and TP came back with an idea about sort of discreet time bursts. These weren't his words, but I believe it was the gist, in that not time was the uncertainty buffer that separated these bursts. He may correct me on that.

I have believed in a relational model for some time. Depending on the breadth of consciousness, one is able to perceive everything as a whole, in that consciousness is able to conceptually link every part of existence, and by relationship conceive it as one, or self. Just as man wife and children are a family, and many families are communities, etc. Can one say, "I am a family?" Well, it is difficult, yet anyone else can say: "that is a family". In other words, the only thing always left out is the observer, the so-called separated self. This is what happens when entities separate from non sensory consciousness. We can somewhat escape the observer role by dampening all our senses so that we are not observers (and also walking into our memories and taking out all the "I's, mine", etc). You gotta defrag the hard drive.

Anyway, getting back to time...
