>> If anyone remains afraid, uncertain, and doubtful about Y!'s future, then you may want to re-read the Network Hunt Report...

Your report was an impressive bit of advocacy, but imo you mischaracterize it by calling it a Project Hunt Report. I saw little correlation between your presentation and the PH template, and there was a glaring lack of objectivity in your analysis and ensuing recommendations.

>> After reading it, if the investor in you still feels the same way, then please do not buy Yahoo!.

Thanks for offering me that option.

>> Y! will survive and prosper without your investment and certainly without me to argue the merits of its investing case.

That's possible, Don, but I don't see that you've used gorilla game metrics to substantiate your claim.

With other forms of ads (TV commercials, radio, billboards, print) there is no click capacity, so no one knows what would happen if you could click on them. Recent posts about Bud ads aside, most people probably ignore ads when at all possible. However they have a subliminal effect. How many people watching a Ford ad are going to rush to buy a new car? It's probably hard to judge the direct results of any form of advertising except maybe those phone in ads you see on tv or offers associated with a coupon, so Internet ads may not be much different.
