Pussyfoot - why do you persist in claiming that Gore saved any money. I have told you that the reinventing government was just a PR program attached to business as usual. Further, high taxes do not increase revenues whereas lower taxes do. High taxes are a drag on the economy. The question is not How good is the economy? It is How good could the economy be if it were performing optimally? The tragedy of the Democrat socialism programs of the last 70 years is that this country has been much less than it could have been. And the poor were the greatest losers as a result of it.
