i knew you'd say that.

the whackos at Anglo are continuing to sell their own product short:

Africa's AngloGold says hedging key to sustained dividends

Johannesburg--Oct. 27--South African gold producer AngloGold would continue

to hedge some of its gold production to enhance its revenues and ensure a

steady dividend payment, says Kelvin Williams, the company's executive director

of marketing. But he emphasized that this did not mean the world's biggest

producer of the metal had abandoned its essentially conservative approach to

hedging.

comment by Ted Butler:

Uptick was right - these guys should change careers, they should be spinmeisters. Now, they claim, if they don't short themselves into oblivion, noone gets any dividends. And I'm glad they're so "conservative". If being short 2.5 years of production is conservative, I guess we should be glad they haven't shorted 25 years' worth. Nitwits, all.
