LOL, love those comments. Too bad more people don't think that way.

You should do just fine with those arc lights as they don't draw much current, especially considering the whopping light they put out. That is a major reason the manufacturers are going to them. Well, at least the foreign ones are.

I run the older halogen lights, and I'm sure you do too on the fog and/or driving. When you over watt them, I burn anywhere from 60 to 130 watts, times 6, the current drop through factory wiring cuts output efficiency under full load down to the 50% range. In other words, you are only getting half the rated output. Sort of defeats the whole point of putting in better lights. So, you have to rewire to heavy gauge to keep the voltage up (and not have your wires burst into flame -g-). I now get more voltage at the lights than the alternator delivers to the battery. -g-
