How long would it take to get a stone age man on the moon?
I doubt the stone age man ever had a goal to stand on the moon. That's an important point since I think that most collective "goals" end up to be opportunistic fortune which is selected once the advantage is realized. The goal of the proto-ape was not to gain intelligence, but that was the result of each independant willfull act by the proto-apes. My goal may be to have dinner tonight, and that is the result of the collective action of many people, but it is nobody's goal but my own.

Still we probably do agree mostly, I'ts just that you are a warm-fuzzy personality and I'm a cold-hearted (or did my wife say cold-handed) kind of guy.
