Just took a 12 minute cab ride in Paris that took 25 minutes... we had 4 people and they apparently are obligated by law to only car 3 [ie. back seat only] at their option. Of course the guy would only take 3 despite the lure of double fee [typical Americans!]... he blabbed the whole way about his rights and how terrible it was because fattest people sit in the front, blah blah blah.... it was hilarious! He was so wound up he lost his way.
