fp,

Osha added that demand for AMD products is good, and the company should sell out its inventory for the fourth quarter.

Great news. Jerry was cautious about AMD's ability to sell all they can produce during the CC. If AMD can sell all the processors they can make, it would mean 9 million chips (which was the last estimate I believe).

fp,

<Merrill sees INTC price cuts>

It is kind of funny Merrill sees this. Weren't some official price cuts expected today for higher speed grade PIIIs?

It will be interesting to see what Osha means in terms of unit shipments.

With Durons kicking in, several European design wins and the coup at Micron, AMD is clearly gaining market share but it is tough to tell what this means in unit terms. Are we looking at a number closer to 8Mu or 9Mu?
