OT Cary, I'm not familiar with the Supreme Court Decision that they refer to. Do you know if the student-initiated prayer that they're supporting includes organized activity where there is a captive audience?

OT Cary, They are wrong on the stance of anyhting anti-gay; I will come out and say that. However, I agree with their Pro-Life stance; a living human being's right superceds any of the mother's. The sticking point here I think is at what point does the fetus become a VIABLE life form. I believe whenever this life can live outside of the mother it should be protected. FWIW, even though I plan to vote Republican, I am against the death penalty. I am sure that is at least something we can agree on:-) Regards, Brian

I can only give you my experience with the democrats in California...... I own guns....always have....hopefully always will...there still is a second amendment...years ago, I had some dreaded assault weapons(that's what the california law calls them now). the California law(passed by a democratically controlled state house) said I had to register them or be in violation....a felon. I have never broken the law, besides the usual traffic ticket...so I registered them....I was told later that my name went into a a computer and every time a policeman drove near my house, a WARNING signal went off in his car.....I did not want this to continue so I went to Oregon and sold all my "assault rifles". I then went to my local police dept. and requested that my name be taken off the computer list.....He said,no, the law does not require me to do anything of the sort....in fact, now that they have my name and address, I am one of the population that has a tendency to own such "bad" items and that my name will always be on the "list".....so when you hear Gore tell you he does not want to take away your guns....do you believe him...? Is this the kind of country that you want? .....I ask.... who or what is next on the list? if an ammendment to the constitution is not off base ---what is next? please tell all patriots! Rich
