No, I hope to buy more at bargain basement prices. Actually, I am hoping that AMD moves up to the 22.125 through 22.875 range and hovers there a while.

Re: Are you at all worried that it is not moving the stock?

Perhaps a little. But it's currently selling at about 1.5 times sales and about 7 times earnings, so I don't see it going much lower, and I think it will eventually go quite a bit higher - certainly it will double over the next 6 months, probably triple, and higher than that I don't know.

Intel keeps trying to hit home runs and keeps striking out (Itanium, Rambus, Timna, maybe even P4). AMD keeps hitting singles and doubles and it looks like their steady, moderate, but over time substantial success will continue for several years, at least.

Even if P4 is a terrific success, it won't stop AMD's relentless progress - so I'm confident the stock price will eventually rise.

Dan

There seems to be a lot of good AMD news today. Are you at all worried that it is not moving the stock?

Its moving a stock but the wrong one....I understand that Intel is still down by over a point.

You wouldn't think that Intel investors would be that threatened by the advent of AMD's DDR chipset, now would you ? ;~))
