Hi Ray,

Thanks...<g> Yes, I think the NAZ can also see a test of its all time highs... I think these markets had to work through a number of serious obstacles which have pretty much been cleared away... let me give you the bottom line first, I think the markets are telling us that we will actually have a soft landing... the bonds are holding firm and are less attractive than stocks now that the bonds have rallied to their old highs and stocks are depressed and are critically oversold... the supply crisis in crude oil, heating oil, and natural gas has subsided, and even the immediate middle east situation does not appear to be able to break these markets any further..... gold is making new contract lows and much of the commodity markets, including the livestock and agricultural markets are all moving lower... I take that as positive for stocks... certainly, there may be many individual companies that won't recover, but the major averages will do well since the powers that determine which companies are to be part of those indices will be sure to keep the strong companies in their portfolio index... there is a seasonal bear cycle from April through October, the inverse of that is the bull cycle from November to April (or sooner)..... these are just some of the reasons why I think the next 3-6 months could be very positive for stock markets in general.....
