. I think we are close to tilting the balance towards people starting to seriously doubt the theory.

I don't think so.

I think it is easy for the situation to change to positive while the negatives are already priced in to most of the stocks.

How can you say that? Most stocks are still ridiculously expensive looking at the historical norms.

I would bet that any telcos that can spend will accelerate the deployment of equipment so that they can increase their leads and make it harder for the upstarts

I think a lot of upstarts will be going bankrupt. I think the big boys will be saving their pennies for the bankruptcy sales. Considering that the "bond market is now closed for telcos" I think we should see a massive slow down in spending next year as companies need to worry about saving cash to survive.

Ed, I am going to stay optimistic on this one.

I just today ,put a sizeable chunk of money on the fact that one lowered price target is not the disaster that many would have us believe. If other firms had joined in I of course would not have been so bold.

Heck,it's only money, not your life.:)I swiped that from L.R. of WSW.He said that back in 87.

Cheers
