Very interesting. Thanks for the info. PC2100 not arriving until December. I wonder if that's due to availability of PC2100 DIMMs, or due to platform stability issues. Probably the former.

By the way, would a micron 1000 ghz with 1600 pc ddrram be better than a gateway 1.1 ghz with 133 sdram.

If the question was 1 GHz with PC-2100 vs. 1.1 GHz with PC-133, I would definitely go with DDR. In your scenario, I would still lean to 1 GHz with PC-1600 DDR.
