in my keoghs and ira i don't have to be concerned re capital gains taxes.
unfortunately, i will pay a big tax when i take the money out.
outside my keogh, i have an enormous capital loss from shorting dell. so, i won't have capital gains tax. i have been frantically trading to use up that loss. most of my stocks were in keoghs and ira. commissions are so low. i place limit orders and they are executed because volatility is so high.
i wish i hadn't read and acted on barrons and had not hedged when pes were high and had played the momentum stocks and gotten out at nasdaq 5000.
