I don't think these are the problems, AMD hat enough time to manufacture them and they don't need any special "treatment" (only a multiplicator change and a different marking) since the original Athlons already ran with 266 MHz FSB if the crippled PLL on the board was changed. The main problem are probably the AMD 760 boards which are not yet available. I expect them in 1-2 months.

First off, the slower 1600 is available immediately. Micron simply might not have the required motherboards yet. Also I believe Micron is supposed to have 2 models at Best Buy Nov. 6(I don't know which); so Micron would have to build those first.
