Are you sure that's not wishful thinking? I think your stuck on that CNN/Gallop poll thing which is worthless. Polls don't mean much right now. This election will be most likely be decided by electoral votes, not necessarily popular vote. Gore has the edge with the states with the biggest electoral votes right now including CA, FL, and PA. NY is a lock for Gore. If Bush doesn't win FL, he will have a tough time winning the presidency.

Gore will win....no doubt! Prefer Nader....Ghandi would be the best choice...unfortunately we have no contemporary heros...no true leaders, only the ones in our mind and the ones unrecognized because they have no marketing campaign, but largely because they have ethics and morals they live by and protect. Gore and Bush are both egomaniacs and easy to forget. Peace!
