Believe anyone can say anything they want in a church, BUT if that church is a non-profit organization, and exempt from taxes on property and assets, can they do political campaigning? One of the ministers said "he wasn't permitted to do that"....but if that is true, why did the POTUS Bill Clinton do it????

Where are the accounting folks and lawyers here? LD usually has an opinion...

There is supposed to be separation of church and state. If he is endorsing a candidate and encouraging his congregation to vote for a specific candidate I believe the church is supposed to lose it's tax exempt status.
