Brian, this is terrible logic. Since when does the opinions of "Trader Mike" make the whole market go "negative".

"Self-fullfillment?" Are you kidding?

All of us have "tribal" emotions. We think the whole population consists of Dolly Parton, Elian Gonzales, Joe Montana, and a few thousand others. It is inconceivable to =everyone= that the world is BILLIONS of people. We think in thousands, the world is billions. This is true because for thousands of generations, all people needed to relate to were a few dozen people. Only in the last 100 yrs has our view expanded. But our deep-seated emotions have not.

Brian, Trader Mike might be right, he might be wrong, in the long run. But he sure as hell won't =cause= it, one way or another.

I don't think this message board has enough influence to make the markets collapse.

--Haven't you ever heard of self-fulfillment?

i've heard of bullshit and mathematics, and the crash will be caused when we as a civilization move from the 'bullshit phase' (the past 10 years or so) into the 'mathematics phase.'
