Heinz, I sure hope you are right when you said a while back that Europeans are shouldering much less personal debt than Americans. For at least one part of Europe, the UK, personal debt problems are so severe that a "debt summit" has needed to be called: news.bbc.co.uk I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see this kind of thing happen in the US soon. Sadly, the piper has to be paid, and for these folks he has played a doleful tune.
