Yes,

in many cases. There still were buys and gains. My ass was saved by NTAP at 44 and taking money out of market and placing in Real Estate BUT - I am not from the " This happened in the past therefore school ". I feel the market speaks to us every day and we can't live in fear based on the past or at least I do not.

IF I FEEL THE MARKET IS HEADED FOR OBLIVION, I WILL BE THE FIRST TO SAY IT.

Hi djia: I know it's been rough the past 6 months, and yeah I've been mooing the whole time. I have not liked it at all. But, I was making money during that time.

I only do options and churn the positions frequently, consequently, I try not to be on the wrong side of a play for long and if I am for very long, I exit, cut loses, and get out only to maybe re-enter later.

In any event, I'm up considerably for the year even though it has been nasty. I'm fortunate. I know some have been clobbered.

I took a hit the last 10 days when I got stopped out of some positions but I exited preserving capital (Rule 1). Aside from those and a position that got stopped out back in about late August or September (I forget) that was the only losing position I'd had since spring. Point is, there are ways to make money in this market. It's difficult but can be done.

I'm like a little ole BULL roaming among those nasty bears. I just look and act mean and they leave me alone!

Hang in there. I don't know squat for sure and certainly not sure what the devil this ole market will do. I do, however, believe we will still have a nice year end run from which there will be some good returns for the quality techs, like those in the optical area.

Good luck.
