I took advantage of her generosity today and look forward to doing so again in the future. <gg>

I also go a handout from HAND this morning but towards the end of the day when I went back for seconds, it wasn't in a giving mood. Perhaps tomorrow.

I would have done much better with RIMM. That was quite a performance at the close.

I also hit on ITWO but picked the wrong time not to be a bit more greedy.

I *like* that CIEN chart.

Others of note:

VTSS has closed its gap, just in time for the giving season.

BBY bouncing, but just sound out their ticker: Buh-BYe. Excellent short on a little more strength.

Ooh - DIGL looking rather ill.

The Flea might actually be hunting for a new 52 week low here. Glad I reloaded...

INFY - Indian S/W & net themes sound like a *really* bad idea in a global recession.

JDSU closed its gap, and evidently that was all it needed before heading further south for the winter. Play "Whack-a-mole" on any bounces up to that mid 80s resistance.

JNPR - it's amazing what happens when our silly little lines get broken, right Allan? Look to add shorts on any bounce back to the 200 resistance.

RBAK at that point like when you get on the Blueridge Parkway. You know that sign that says "No gas next 80 miles"? No support next 40 points.

PWER - yee-haw! Who was the guy with the golden touch on that gem?

INKT smells the glove. Tempting to cover.

ARBA looks like an accident waiting to happen. PPRO, FMKT say that the tentative base fails.

LNUX manages to post a new 52 week low - excellent short on any gap up at tomorrow's open. Long-term short&hold candidate.

NAVI - weak company bouncing on technical factors. Watch for an excellent short entry over the next few days.

NGEN - relatively weak biotechs are always a good short idea. CRA in that camp - maybe wants new lows?

VRSN - I'm noticing a pattern here. Fell apart the last few days of Q1. Also falling apart the last few days of Q3. I *really* want to short it, but I'm guessing a solid bounce may await.

Covered my EMC today, looking for yet another good entry courtesy of EOQ activities.

NTRO was supposed to bounce some more before working further south. Too bad I covered on the initial swan dive...

Allan - have you put out the "Bye-bye Avoid" on ORCL yet? I think I give it my copyrighted BOC Avoid: Bend Over, Clown.

PLUG, SCON - companies without revenues aren't a really good idea in bear markets, are they?

POCI - last chance to short it, if your broken gives you trouble shorting <$5 stocks like mine does.

REDF - Interesting bounce on news of ThinkIndia.com purchase. Still think it's a short and hold. And you'll *like* the overhead resistance it's about to tag at 5 1/2.

Bye-bye RIMM. Good riddance.

Sickamore - well, you know. I may actually have to cover the darned thing again, what with the compelling values it's approaching. <s> Is the PE under 1000 yet?

BRCD, CFLO having trouble. Maybe storage sector done?

Where's a good entry on PMCS, AMCC?

XLA - maybe Mirror Image isn't a scam, but the holding company *IS*. Single-digits anyone?

Quick! Add CSCO to the Dow - it's a *steal* !!! (Or is that a "fraud"?)

Any guesses where Soft runs outa steam?

Nice moves from the defensive stocks today: BLS musta invented anti-gravity!

Still nervously short. Covering a fair amount. I think it's about 50/50 whether we collapse further or do the year-end rally. I'm quite skeptical of the year-end, if only because SO many people are expecting it. Why wouldn't you be fully invested if you expected it? Maybe they're waiting for someone else to provide the leadership, catch the falling knife as it were. All I *know* is that, if there IS a year-end rally, it will be the shorting opportunity of a lifetime, and I want enough dry powder to take advantage if it happens.
