Index No. of stocks % stocks above 50D MA above 50D MA ----- ------------ ------------ SP500 277 55.4 Nasdaq 100 26 26.0 DJIA 30 Ind 18 60.0 DJ20 Transport 13 65.0 DJ15 Utility 10 66.7 Tech stocks are out of favor now. The market excluding tech stocks are not that bad.

Julius: remember the slogan from a past presidential race "it's the economy stupid", then there is the old saying that a voter goes into the booth, digs his hand in his pocket and depending on his financial condition, that is the way he votes. Well this time the slogan is going to be " it's the stock market, stupid ". People are really shaken up by the turmoil brought on by this collapse in the solid companies. My mom was going to sell her PFE, I told her Bush is a lock, so hang on to it as long as it stays above its 200 day ma. What is your take on a sector play in medical delivery or pharmaceuticals after next Tuesday......gregor
